Utah

It's so cute to see Zoey sitting between her mom n dad n watching a movie intently.

Pretty sun flowers always brighten up the day

So many golden aspens. Fall is a lovely time.

View of the mountains on my way out.

Until next time Utah, until next time.

Utah

Zoeys favorite book to read in the car today was the very busy spider. She really enjoys reading.

She was very intent on reading it and I must have been bothering her by taking pics.

Family photos and the trial run of the new double wide BOB

Lucy, Laura, Ryan and baby Bears on the left and Tim, Tess, and Zoey on the right.

We took a nice walk up City Creak Canyon

Only you can prevent forest fires.

Before we ran out of sun Buddy got to go to the park to chase balls.

He drools a lot. But is still a handsome boy.

Utah

I venture to Utah for a few reasons. Mostly I come to visit the cutest kid I've ever met Zoey. The others are friends, my parents and some nature.

View of the Great Salt Lake from my airplane window.

Zoey is using me as a learning tool, Star!

She's a girl after my own heart n loves cheese.

View on the way down from Neff's Canyon. Sandy and Mom frame the photo nicely

Jay told me not to get my arm stuck in the canyon so of corse the first thing I did when I saw a bunch of rocks was to "get stuck".
Sandy to try n help.

Rope swing... weeee!

Blue Heron

There is plenty of city nature to be had if you know where to look. My wanders yesterday took me to an area called the Fens. It's right in the city n yet I was able to see this:

I believe it is a Blue Heron

Pretty neat if you ask me.

Spy Pond

Last night Jay and I enjoyed an evening stroll down a tree lined bike path to Spy Pond. It's nice to be able to find spots like this while still being in the city. The specks of black you can barely see on the water were ducks.

We started our walk a bit on the late side last night n ran out of light. I have a feeling a sunset would be delightful to enjoy there so it's been put high on the to do list.

Saco River Trip

This weekend I partook in the annual Saco river trip for the second time. It was a bit cold and overcast but the rain held off and the sun peaked it's head out by the end. Overall a successful trip with great company.

Texas hold em had to be played the night before we hit the river.
We gambled with sunflower seeds.

Coppo, Chris, Andrew, Todd, and Sue

We ventured out onto the Saco river even though we were warned the water was high and more hazards. The only problem we encountered was the mosquitos. But for the most part if we stayed in the middle of the river they were not too bad at all. Because it was cool and overcast most of the crazy party people stayed on dry land. We had the river almost to ourselves.

Ready to go

The Boys

The Girls

We made it group shot

Chris was the only one who fell into the river

The last day we went to Pirates Cove to play a round of mini golf.

I have a firm but medium swing and got a hole in one.

It unfortunately did not do me enough good for I was beaten by 3 strokes by this guy

Yup.

Utah

Tess and Laura took me on a hike up Mill Creak Canyon.
It kicked my ass but the view was worth it.

Gloucester, Ma

My aunt and uncle were visiting Gloucester and Rockport for the week so I went to join them for lunch and some site seeing.
