I have been sucked into a vortex as of late. It makes time and space disappear.

Happy Birthday Zoey

I sent Zoey some books for her 1st birthday. Tess and Tim were kind enough to video tape her enjoying them. I'm grateful for technology and being able to watch her grow. Love you guys!

Bees

I have found dead bees in my window ledge and other places in my room a couple of times. I was also stung on my the palm of my hand a while back while I was sleeping. Since it's getting cold it was time to remove my ac from the window and replace it with plastic to keep the warm in and the cold out. This protective layer of plastic is also helping keep the bees that have made themselves a hive in my window sill out of my room.


Chichi seems to think the bees are here to amuse him.


There entry is definitely in the window sill. How they are getting in between the plastic and the window is still a mystery to me.

Wandering...

While out wandering I came across what I like to call:

Ballet

Me and Shaun went to see a ballet.




It was good, but it makes me really want to go see a bigger more professional Ballet performance. As well as cirque du soleil or a modern dance performance.

Went to Nyc to see Leah

We ate so much good food and walked all over the place.
I had a blast.

Nyc -High Line

While wandering around NYC I walked up and through High Line park. Its on top of an old railroad bridge. The views, design and the use of space is awesome. I need to go again in spring when all the flowers are out.

Halloween

Went on a road trip with Todd n Sue n Andrew to Dubbage in Hartford to listen to The Scoundrels spin. They killed it as usual and road trips are fun.

Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation

Went to see Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation play at the Orpheum. Flew solo because there was no way I was going to miss this show and no one got back to me about going. Ended up bumping into some people I knew but don't usually see out. It was really fun. I had a good night.

Baking apple pie with Laura

Laura enjoys baking, so I've been on her about baking me a pie. Apparently in order to get my pie I had to help. I'm proud that baking while baking turned out fabulously. The pie was delicious!


I was in charge of peeling the apples. I'm a good helper.


Laura did all of the measuring and mixing.




We baked cheddah right into the pie crust. Such a great idea. Yum.

Pinch at the GoodLife

Went to the GoodLife with the crew to see Pinch spin. It was awesome. At one point everyone in the room was moving, dancing, bopping heads,or tapping their feet. Such a good energy.

I got to play with ladies and babies during the day.


I held Zoey and Locke while Tess and Laura were trying on clothes.

All things considered I think I handled them ok.


Tess Zoey and I went to REI to find a new baby carrier.

I think both of their facial expressions say that this one is the winner.

He has a telescope and we got to see Jupiter and 4 of it's moons!

It was really cool. Unfortunately we weren't able to see your anus.

Even starring out the window on my way out of Salt Lake was beautiful.

I had a great trip.

Tess and Laura took me on a hike up Mill Creak Canyon.
It kicked my ass but the view was worth it.
