Boston Skyline

I frequently ride the red line train over the Longfellow Bridge and as we cross I take a photo of the Boston Skyline. It's become an obsession. I'm quite proud of myself. My side project: bostonfromtheredline.tumblr.com Check out the archive too!

I finally got around to walking over the bridge and had a lovely time doing it.

Enjoyed* lunch at Temazcal in Boston's new and improved waterfront followed by a stroll to the ICA



The building was built over the water and has an observation walkway that has all glass windows for a great view.





*Enjoyed at the time however for the rest of the day I had guacamole flavored burps.

Leaving Boston, Hello Daddy

Yesterday morning I got on a plane to fly to Utah


I can see my board bag!


I had a great view of Boston as we were rolling down the tar mat.


Enjoyed a beautiful sunset from my window during my layover in Chicago.

My dad came to pick me up and while we were waiting for my bags I got a couple of amazing pics.

Somehow it's January and there is ice on the river again. This year been a whirl wind, a crazy roller coaster ride. It's been an exciting adventure and I really like the person that I have become.

There seems to be a couple of recurring themes in my life lately. Lunching with the ladies is my favorite one. I find myself eating at the same places a lot lately. They are just so good i can't help but go back. This week it was back to Toro for lunch on Monday with Laura. She is much more adventurous then I am when it comes to eating strange food.

She's eating tongue. In my opinion ewww but she says it tastes like corn beef, also ewww in my opinion.

The other place I have been going to frequently is the Otherside Cafe. I'm obsessed with the veggie burrito from there but lately I've been getting the fresh mozzarella n tomato sandwitch and adding avocado to it. yum yum. Today Rose and Steph joined me.

So a blond and burnette and a redhead are eating lunch on a patio...

Marathon Monday in Boston is a crazy time. Instead of running 26 miles some people I know like to make it into a marathon drinking day.
